Welcome to my brand new site! Me and the guys love the new look and feel that Warp Development have created. Shot Andre en Adrien! We’ll be updating it constantly throughout the year with gig info, new pics and blogs so that I can keep you all updated about what’s happening. So, that being said, here’s the first installment of what’s going in our lives…
It’s been a long time coming and we are very happy to announce to you all that our new album is in the can (collective sigh of relief). We will welcome the music industry and media into our Postmodern World at our launch party (this Thursday!!) on the 2nd of August. Once the pre-launch nerves have been swallowed down with our first glass of champagne, everything is “all systems go” for touring the new cd.
The excitement kicks off at the Wildcoast Sun for another Old Mutual Encounters show on August 10th where we will be celebrating my 29th birthday by jamming with jazz legend, Paul Hamner and producer and Afri-Jazz extraordinaire, Selaelo Selota.
From there we make our annual pilgrimage to Northam for Oppikoppi 13 – The way of the Dassie. For those of you who are making your first Oppikoppi pilgrimage: Don’t forget to pitch your tent when you arrive in a North/South direction or you’ll have that sneaky bushveld sun glaring straight into your tent at dawn. All veteran Koppi poppies and pappies will also agree that it is best to get the tent thing out of the way before you partake in too much merriment and festivities!!
We will also be performing in Jozi, Centurion, Ipitori, Worcester and Cape Town in August. Check the gig guide out for all the details!

Postmodern World really is a completely new experience for us all, it’s our first completely English album and we really hope you like it! The first single, Aeroplane Jane, goes to radio this week and the video – which we had an absolute blast shooting at Lanseria with Ivyann Moreirra– will be on YouTube in no time so keep an eye out for it!
