River Camp is situated only 18 km from Citrusdal, on the banks of the Olifant’s River. This very remote campsite consists of two camping site, each having it’s own private ablution facilities. The weekender can engage in activities like hiking, swimming, cycling, fresh water fishing, bird watching and many more.

The Baths Hot Springs Resort is a natural hot springs and self-catering resort that maintains an old charm in a scenic, rural setting. 18 km from Citrusdal and 185km from Cape Town (along the N7). There are 15 well shaded caravan and camping sites with ablution facilities and some with electrical points. In addition to the hot and cold water swimming pools and spa baths, relaxing pastimes include tennis, trampoline, pool table, small playground for children, hiking trails, mountain biking and bird watching. The owners of The Baths have a policy of non-commercialisation. We do not have TV’s in the units nor do we have cell phone reception (you can get reception 1km away). We want to promote outdoor living in a relaxed, yet comfortable atmosphere.

The Nieuwoudt-Farm belongs to the family for several generations. Citrus and mangoes are grown. Rooibos tea grows wild in the mountains. The campsite is situated on the banks of the Rondegat River and has an ablution block with hot water made from natural rocks. There are 26 sites along the river and most are equipped with electric points. This campsite is ideal for nature lovers. There are several natural rockpools in the river. Even in season one can still find an unoccupied private place at the river. The hiking trails start from there.
